METRO PROTECTION K-9 PROGRAM

Our K-9 team was created to provide an extra level of protection for our clients and defend our community from terrorism or other threats standard security measures do not adequately protect against.

Our K-9's and handlers are Internationally Certified by the American Society of Canine Trainers International (ASCT), the premier law enforcement and working dog certification body in the United States, and also certify internationally as well.  To attain ASCT Certification our K-9 teams must complete over 240 hours of intense classroom and in field training, pass multiple practical search tests and pass a written knowledge test that includes canine biology and neurophysiology, chemistry, scent and odor dynamics and many other in depth topics.  Attaining ASCT certification is very challenging and the standards exceed local standards.

In addition to achieving this high level of certification our K-9 must train on a daily basis to maintain their skills, learn and grow as a team.  Our K-9 teams are committed to excellence and always strive to be the best at what they do.

We also have access to Narcotics K-9 and can add this service to any client who has a need for this service.
